Great opportunity to work with a global chemical leader in a Corporate Equipment Engineering role, supporting strategic Rotating Equipment initiatives for chemical plant sites.   Offering competitive salary, bonus, STI, and relocation options.

• Ensure safe, cost-effective, operable rotating equipment and associated systems are provided and maintained to meet current site needs.
• Provide support on prioritization of machinery related projects.
• Work in a team environment with other disciplines, operations, mechanical personnel
• Direct improvements for increasing plant reliability.
• Specify new rotating equipment to comply with industry and company design practices.
• Provide technical training to mechanical and operations personnel.
• Provide QA/QC on repairs onsite/off-site.
• Provide vendor surveillance on major machine repairs.
• Periodically review rotating equipment performance
• Provide assistance during plant startups, shutdowns, and/or upsets.

Requirements:

• BS in Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years experience with industrial rotating equipment in chemical or refinery industries.
  
• Extensive knowledge of compressors (reciprocating and centrifugal), pumps (reciprocating and centrifugal), fans, and blowers
• Knowledge of Industry Standards (i.e. API, ASME, PIP, etc.)
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priority items.
• Demonstrated work experience as SME for Rotating Equipment.
