CNC Mill 2nd Shift
This is a full-time position on the 2nd shift, with opportunities for overtime and advancement within the company.
As a CNC Mill Operator, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC milling machines to produce high-quality parts according to specifications. You will work with a variety of materials, including metals and plastics, and use various tools such as drills, lathes, and grinders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC milling machines according to work orders and blueprints
- Load materials onto machines and adjust machine settings to ensure proper cuts and finishes
- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as needed to maintain quality and production standards
- Inspect finished parts for accuracy and make any necessary adjustments
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during production
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years experience operating CNC milling machines
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong knowledge of machining tools and equipment
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with tight tolerances
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
