Position: CMM Operator / Quality Inspector
Shift: 1st | Hours: 7AM - 4PM
Type: Full-Time | Mode: Direct Placement / Contract-To-Hire
Pay Scale: $17-30/hr | Industry: Manufacturing

Seeking an experienced CMM Operator with understanding of CMM Setup, Operating and Inspecting Mechanical Parts made from Metals and Alloys.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform visual and dimensional inspection of product in accordance with written procedures, drawings, and process documents.
  • Complete first article, in-process, final inspection, and packaging of customer product
  • Ensures Customer specifications and quality standards are met.
  • Completes necessary paperwork to fulfill customer and quality requirements
  • Inspects in-process and/or finished production assemblies for conformance to required workmanship standards.
  • Interprets engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, or formulas and confers with management or engineering staff to determine quality and reliability standards.
  • Coordinates the collection of all required documentation of supplier documentation, original manufacturing certifications, inspection data and all additional paperwork required in support of the First Article Process based upon customer requirements and priorities.
  • Work with customers, suppliers, manufacturing engineering, design engineering, configuration, inspection and value Streams as required to create the First article packages.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • Blueprint Reading / GD&T Understanding
  • CMM Operating Experience
  • Aerospace Manufacturing Experience
