Design Engineer

PRIMARY ROLE IN THE ORGANIZATION:

Support production by planning for parts to be designed for manufacturability.  Always keep in mind how to protect production from making a bad part.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

1.)  Interface with project manager concerning design specifications and other facets of

      product development.

2.)  Interface with customers regarding design development.

3.)  Guest Engineer control and support

4.)  Design review schedule & report

5.)  Customer spec. control

6.)  Prototype order & delivery to customer

7.)  APQP support

8.)  Support customer presentations

     (i.e.; J-Sox, TS16949, and ISO14001)

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. EXPERIENCE

1.)  Prior experience in OEM interfacing

2.)  Prior experience with 3D CAD Design

1. EDUCATION

Four year Engineering Degree or equivalent experience.
