Riverlink is working with a long-standing client in the Minneapolis/St Paul area looking for a Environmental Health Safety Specialist. The ideal candidate will have over 1-3 years of experience identifying opportunities to minimize workplace injuries.

Responsibilities:

• Candidate must have completed the OSHA 30-hour General Industry Course.
• Has experience working as the chair on the Safety Committee and be a safety role model.
• Experience evaluating the AWAIR program.
• Experience making recommendations to senior management.
• Ideally the candidate should have experience proactively enforcing safety rules and address employee safety concerns.
• Experience implementing safety training.
• Help implement programs that following all federal, internal health, and safety rules.
