Sr. Quality Manager
$120000 to $140000 Per Year
- Paid relocation is available for the right candidate, however it should be noted that city listed is a very rural area, but candidate can be within a 45 minute commute. Match candidates accordingly please.
- Candidates must possess U.S. Citizenship, Green Card, and/or require no sponsorship now or in the future.
Summary:
• Defining and specifying activities, processes, and standards to fulfill the quality requirements for a manufactured material, component, or product
• Building and maintaining the infrastructure and systems necessary to consistently ensure the timely delivery of quality products
• Auditing, monitoring, and determining the quality of manufacturing processes and/or outputs against defined internal and regulatory standards
• Reporting and troubleshooting manufacturing process deviations and defects in finished goods
Day to Day:
• Leads projects or processes of diverse scope, while working independently with limited supervision
• Coaches and reviews the work of lower level professionals
• Supports continuous improvement/automation activities
• Uses advanced analytical/technical problem solving to develop new solutions to existing problems/procedures
• Supports relationships through strong communication and negotiation skills with internal and external stakeholders
• Other duties as assigned
Background:
Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree; or 3 years and a master’s degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent work experience
