Plumbing/HVAC Preconstruction Manager, PE

Titles: Senior Mechanical Engineer, Sr. Mechanical Engineer, MEP Project Manager, Preconstruction, Principal Engineer, Sales/Estimating

Trades: HVAC-wet side, HVAC-air side, Commercial Plumbing, Industrial Piping, Building Automation Controls

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret CAD/Revit/Navis-BIM models and design documents
• Work with engineering and estimating teams to develop value engineering solutions for upcoming projects
• Develop and present solutions to building owners, general contractors, and internal management teams

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering
• PE License
• 5 to 15 years of combined Commercial Plumbing/HVAC Design & Engineering, Estimating, and Leadership experience
• Project experience ranging from a minimum $200,000 up to $20,000,000+. Project experience including Mid- and high-rise office buildings, hospitals, airports, jails, k-12 schools, universities, medical office buildings, stadiums, among other large commercial buildings.
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal HVAC-ASHRAE, Plumbing-ASPE, and Building Code requirements
• Strong computer, writing, and verbal communication skills and proficient in MS Office
