Opening for a knowledgeable and compassionate Covid Coordinator. The Coordinator is responsible to oversee various projects in accordance with the organizational goals and ensures alignment with current precautionary practices.  Will work with all members of the leadership team, community members and Department of Health so protocols and practices within the department are in alignment with best practices.  Serves as the bridge between leadership and the teams tasked with execution of daily activities.

Position Details

80 hours per pay period (two weeks)

Day Shift

Manage the workflow for COVID testing, vaccination and isolation rooms

Coordinate staffing with clinical scheduler to ensure appropriate coverage for all shifts

Ensure successful daily start up and closing of department

Coordinate supply requisitioning and approval in coordination with department leader

Attend state and local COVID-19 meetings as needed.

Coordinate data submission to regulatory agencies

Coordinate data collection and reporting as requested by leadership

Coordinate orientation and training of new hires

Manage communications and ensure staff are aware of project activities, progress, expectations and feedback loop

Function as patient registrar or scheduler as needed

Required Qualifications

2 years of  project management or leadership experience

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously

Proficiency with Microsoft Office – Word, Excel and Outlook

CPR certified within thirty(30) days of hire and maintained while employed

Preferred Qualifications

Healthcare Experience

Associate’s Degree in related field
