In this role, you will provide engineering design for the company’s products. This position is
responsible for hardware and software design for machine and/or control systems for assigned
projects.

• Create drawings using computer aided AutoCAD Electrical design software to prepare
detailed drawings, layouts and diagrams.
• Drawing details necessary for manufacture and assembly.
• Create parts in the MRP system
• Produce drawings and designs in accordance with company production and design
standards.
• Documents design changes and ensure all relevant teams are notified and updated.
• Correct drawings due to manufacturing and customer.
• Communicate with vendors to obtain information and assistance.
• Collaborate with different departments (Manufacturing, Engineering, etc.) to provide
support/feedback as required
• Participate in product inspections/checkouts

 

• Associate degree Engineering Technology preferred
• Minimum 2 years drafting experience required
• General drafting and fundamental design experience
• Ability to accurately draw and dimension detailed electrical systems and components
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD Electrical, Microsoft Office, Word and Excel.
• Working knowledge of MRP, BOM structure and costing
• Working knowledge of drafting techniques, engineering terminology, applicable materials
and production processes
