My client is looking to fill 1 full-time Direct Hire Nurse Manager Behavioral Health position available in Arkansas City, Kansas.

The Nurse Manager plans, implements, and evaluates delivery of overall nursing care to patients. He/she provides managerial support in conjunction with the Program Director by providing supervision and evaluation of all nursing and patient care personnel in the Program. He/she contributes to the Program, nursing and hospital through commitment to nursing goals, the supervision of clinical staff, and participation in the community relations program. The Nurse Manager reports administratively to the program director and clinical, to the Vice President of Clinical Services. The Nurse Manager is also responsible for keeping the Client Hospital’s Director of Nursing informed of Program clinical activities and performance.

Requirements of the Nurse Manager

a. Four year Bachelor’s Degree

b. License / Certification

a. State RN certification/license in Kansas

b. CPR certification

c. American Heart Association issued BLS and ACLS as appropriate

Supervises: RNs, LPNs, CNAs, MHTs
