Warehouse Associate

Location: Topeka, KS

Type: Full-Time - 1st Shift

Description: 

The Warehouse Associate will be a safety minded individual that is responsible for performing all general warehouse responsibilities and tasks to include but not limited to: Shipping, receiving, production, stocking and housekeeping of warehouse area and expected to portray leadership within the organization to uphold and promote the positive company culture. Additionally:

• Adheres to all corporate and facility guidelines, rules, policies and procedures

• Wraps and transports finished product within the facility to designated staging and storage areas

• Maintains stock and labeling of materials and ensure proper storage within the warehouse area

• Properly receives and unloads all incoming materials ensuring accuracy and validation in shipments and all receiving processes are met in accordance to the certificate of compliance

• Oversees fulfillment and replenishment of material requests to and from internal departments

• Handles production tasks including material handling, machine operations, and labeling.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse.

• Follow safety protocols and procedures at all times.

Warehouse Associate Job Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent

• Experience/certification with warehouse equipment, forklift, handjacks, electric pallet stacker a plus

• Ability to lift/carry up to 60lbs on a frequent basis

• Ability to handle 200lb rolls with use of proper equipment

• Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely

• Ability to follow oral and written instructions

• Basic math skills

• Ability to operate computer equipment with training

• Ability to read, write and communicate via phone, e-mail or in person to internal and external customers and other business contacts in a courteous and professional manner 100% of the time

• Comfortable with consistently moving about the facility, sitting, standing, walking, bending, reaching, and climbing
