Innovative manufacturer in the Peoria, IL area with an immediate opening for an Engineering Project Manager. Opportunity to work with internal and external resources to help bring new production lines online. This Engineering Project Manager will be key to manage large technical projects utilizing both in-house expertise, outside consultants and contractors through the planning, installation, commissioning, and start-up phases.
 
Requirements:
-Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Management, or a related field.
-5+ years of demonstrated experience in manufacturing or project management, preferably in the rubber, paper, or silicone industry.
-An inquisitive spirit to seek out improvements to existing concepts.
-Ability to communicate effectively and to partner with all levels of the organization.
-Must have a collaborative work ethic, positive attitude, and the ability to give and receive constructive feedback.
-Ability to work within a highly iterative team environment.
 
Responsibilities:
-Project manage external engineering efforts.
-Provide engineering for interfaces between equipment and needed auxiliaries.
-Discuss projects with key stakeholders to establish scope.
-Ideate, research, run scenarios to effectively understand project schedules and resources.
-Provide project cost and labor estimates prior to start of work for project evaluation.
-Lead design reviews and project timelines with team members.
-Ensure the compliance of the manufacturing lines with all EPA, OSHA, and similar requirements.
-Mentor fellow engineers.
