The purpose of this role is to assist the Finance team with day to day corporate accounting operations to include Month-End Close, Reconciliations, Financial Reporting and ERP system maintenance.  We are looking for competencies in the 3 sections below.

Accounting

Perform various month end tasks including the preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, intercompany balancing and other corporate accounting duties

Perform quarter end tasks including reporting schedules, variance analysis and supporting documentation

Assist with internal and external financial reporting for management and stakeholders

Support annual audit process to include maintaining integrity of financial statements and disclosures and US GAAP compliance

Be a key player in the implementation of Lease Accounting ASC 842

Partner with other groups and business partners within the Organization to foster a team environment

Complete ad hoc assignments as requested

FP&A

Provide monthly forecast assumptions to organization

Forecast corporate expenses monthly and provide variance explanations

Assist with gathering data and preparing the AOP for Board Approval

Assist with external reporting decks for stakeholders

Assist with Cash flow variance and forecast

Complete ad hoc assignments as requested

Information Systems

Maintain the financial reporting system on a monthly basis

Ensure the accuracy of financial reports generated from the ERP system

Update and maintain metadata changes within the ERP system when required

Troubleshoot ERP discrepancies related to financial reporting

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Accounting

CPA certification preferred but not required

5 years’ experience including general ledger accounting, SEC reporting, public accounting and GAAP

Experience with Oracle Cloud, FCCS and PBCS

Advanced in Microsoft excel and familiar with the Microsoft Suite

Strong accounting and analytical skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
