Looking for a reliable, CNC Programmer to be the Department Lead Machinist to program, setup and operate Mills and Lathes in a small, climate-controlled job shop. Applicant must meet the following criteria:

• A minimum of 5 years of verifiable experience

  Use CAD/CAM software to create programs

• Read and interprets blueprints as well as understanding geometric tolerances
• Able to perform first part inspection and in process inspections
• Follow production op sheets and documents
• Understanding of various measurement tools for exacting tolerances and dimensions
• Maintain equipment and work area in a clean orderly fashion
• Engineering custom fixturing and tooling when needed
• Understanding of G&M codes
• Good math skills, · Able to read and write English
• Team player with good communication skills, · Supervisor/management experience a plus

Experience in Mastercam and/or SolidWorks a plus
