Nurse Educator opportunity is available at a senior living center in upstate NY that has been nationally recognized with awards for excellence in customer service, practice and quality.  This facility offers full nursing care, assisted living and private apartments in a lovely residential neighborhood.

Responsibilities: Provide educational experiences that promote competent nursing practice and quality resident care. Facilitate general orientation for new employees, department orientation for all nursing employees and assist in their assimilation into a new role. Support nursing staff members in their efforts to acquire knowledge and skills and professional development.

Requirements:
BS in Nursing or related field, MS preferred.

Three years nursing practice experience in a clinical setting, teaching experience preferred.

NY State RN license; CPR within 3 months of hire

A plus:

Professional nursing certification in Professional Development or other area

Certificate in related field, e.g., CPR Instructor, Lean Six Sigma
