American manufacturer and innovator of take-out food containers, boxes and folding cartons, supplying foodservice, restaurants, hotels, catering, bakeries, and supermarkets.

 

Responsibilities:

 

Territory:  Midwest

Drive profitable sales growth.  Establish sales strategy for all major customers and prospects, develop positive relationships with key customers and prospects, and ensure visibility to key customers and prospects by providing on-site support as needed.  Develop and deliver presentations to win new customers and maintain existing business.  Monitor the overall sales process to ensure effective and efficient execution of projects.  Understand key strategic objectives and effectively bring them to the marketplace.  Gather and monitor competitive information from the marketplace and identify market trends.  Recommend product or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and sales potential.  Drive the process around the continued innovation of services and products. 

 

Qualifications:

 

5+ years sales experience of packaging solutions targeting the foodservice retail grocery industry.  Flexographic and offset printed cartons.

Demonstrated track record of sustained, profitable sales growth with a focus on customer service, value creation and general market awareness.

Understanding of product design, graphics, and applications.

Commitment to outstanding customer service.

Strong sales person with experience selling our major target area: food service.

Closest to bull’s eye would be a folding carton sales person selling to the food service industry, but a person who is from a disposable food service manufacturer and  or disposable distributor would be a good possibility as well.

Basis attributes of hard work, hunting ability and desire, tenacity and ability to handle detail all important.

Commissions are uncapped and accounts are not made into house accounts. Extremely  strong sampling process to make the sale a possibility.

Salary flexible depending on the focused experience and record of success in sales.

 

Salary base + no-cap bonus / commission, company health benefits, 401(k), company car, home office, vacation.
