Chemical Project Engineer
Responsibilities:
This person will be responsible for executing a wide variety of small/medium projects, including the design through installation of capital expansion and retrofits with budgets from $50k to $3MM leading outages/turnarounds in gas facilities. They will be servicing a number of plants within the hydrogen division located in the North America Region. They will be part of a multi-skilled team to implement EH&S, productivity, and reliability projects, including overhauling huge pieces of equipment, in coordination with outages at their facilities. This person will need excellent communication skills and a broad knowledge of engineering disciplines. The position involves 25-40% travel to different plants across the west coast and Canada. Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
- 7+ years’ experience preferably out of gases, but also industrial and manufacturing
- Manufacturing, plant operations, maintenance, and capital projects experience
- Basic understanding of the process technologies employed in industrial gas manufacturing and Professional Engineer credentials are both pluses.
