We are looking for a Maintenance Supervisor in Buckhannon, West Virginia. The client is a top global company with growth opportunities and offers a full relocation package. 



  • Installs, maintains, troubleshoots and repairs production machinery.

    • Troubleshoots and repairs defective machines.

    • Installs new or repaired parts, following specifications and blueprints, using proper measuring instruments and tools.

  • Maintains and repairs building equipment and physical structures, including electrical systems.

    • Troubleshoots and installs or repairs electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring, and electrical and electronic components of machinery.

    • Lays out, assembles, installs, and maintains pipe systems and related pneumatic equipment, and repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment.

    • Repairs and maintains physical structure of facility.

  • Assist Operators in startups of production machinery.

    • Facilitate startups by repairing or replacing defective machinery and equipment in a timely manor.

  • Use hand tools, power tools, welders, hoists, forklifts, and measuring and testing instruments to repair or fabricate components for repairs, modifications or installations.

  • Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment

    • Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery, using rags, brushes, oil and grease guns.

  • Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment, using electrical and electronic test equipment.

Education, Training& Experience:

  • Associates degree in an appropriate technical field of study. - Preferred 

  • Minimum three years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing.

  • Must meet the Prairie Industries, Incorporated Job Description requirements.

  • Experience with new product development processes.

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:

  • Read and understand blueprints, manuals, and schematic drawings
  • PLC programming experience
  • Must possess good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be able to schedule and conduct both technical and general audience meetings.
  • Must be able to function cooperatively and effectively in a team environment with peers and personnel in other departments.

Physical and Environmental Requirements:

  • Physical Activities:Seeing, fingering, grasping, reaching, touching, feeling, hearing.

  • Level of Physical Requirements:Medium work level, lifting and positioning weight loads to 75 pounds.
