Our client is a state-of-the-art veterinary care clinic serving the Penn Hills, McKeesport and Holiday Park communities suburb of Pittsburgh, PA.  Their mission is to maintain animal well-being, ease suffering and enhance the human-animal bond through conscientious care with utmost integrity under sound veterinary medical principles.

We are currently seeking several part time or full time Physicians who are compassionate, talented doctors who can work independently in serving our patients with basic surgery including spay, neuter, dentistry, tumor removals, etc. 

Responsibilities will include

  • Partnering with clients as an advocate for the pet and plan follow-up visits, provide home-care instructions, and education to ensure the lifelong health of their pets. 
  • Delivering medical and surgical treatments with formulary approved pharmaceuticals, supplies, and equipment, in accordance with the clinic’s Medical Quality Standards 
  • Perform surgeries as required
  • Provide preventive and holistic care for all patients

The ideal candidate will commit to practicing highest standard of medicine while upholding the veterinary code of ethics.  Will adopt and positively impact new veterinary standards and guidelines.


The facility is around 15 miles from the city of Pittsburgh and is equipped with a digital x-ray and ABAXIS lab equipment on site, and a state-of-the-art surgical/anesthesia suite staffed with experienced nurse assistants.  They are also well equipped with a rehab facility that houses all of the required rehab equipment including an underwater treadmill.  The Physician will be supported by a group of dedicated and experienced clinical staff. 


The ideal candidate will have a valid PA State Veterinary Board License and a successful track record of treating cats and dogs.  New graduates are also encouraged to apply.

Schedules that will allow you to focus on both professional development and quality of life.

No overnight, weekends or holiday calls.  Clients are referred to 24-hour care facilities during these hours.
