Our client in the Schenectady-Albany-Saratoga Springs (NY) area is seeking a full-time HVAC Installer responsible for the installation of HVAC products in residential new construction - including complete installation (from rough-in to finish) of furnaces, air conditioners, and various other equipment.

 

This position offers competitive wages up to $30/hour, based on experience. You would also be eligible for excellent benefits such as health insurance, dental, vision, paid holidays, a 401(K) with company match, life insurance, and a PTO program!

 

Job Responsibilities May Include:
- Set furnaces as needed
- Cut, thread and install gas piping
- Cut and install vent piping (both PVC and b-vent)
- Assemble duct work (cutting, labeling and sealing)
- Cut and hang round pipes
- Install and complete minor control wiring
- Install line voltage wiring
- Start and test gas furnaces to assure satisfactory performance
- Set fireplaces and install gas piping

 

• 5+ years of HVAC Installer (not just service tech) experience, preferably in residential new construction
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• Ability to pass a background check and periodic drug tests
• Strong attention to detail (do the job right the first time)
• Proven ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Dependable, hardworking, friendly, and customer-oriented

Install technicians come into the shop on Mondays, but otherwise leave from their home residence in the morning, and drive to the job site. A company van/truck may be provided.
