Operations Manager

Sioux Falls, SD

$75-90K plus 5-10% bonus

Our client in the Sioux Falls, SD area is seeking a detail-oriented, thorough and organized Operations Manager to join their growing organization and lead the Sioux Falls branch. This Operations Manager will play a key role by planning and overseeing the teams progress. Strong background in manufacturing or warehouse industry is needed to succeed in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct branch operations.
• Improve operational management systems, processes and best practices.
• Grow sales by building customer relationships and providing excellent customer service.
• Help with inventory management and oversee warehouse efficiency.
• Formulate strategic and operational objectives.
• Examine financial data and use it to improve profitability.
• Participate in budget development and forecasts.
• Perform quality control and monitor warehouse activity.
• Find ways to increase quality of customer service.
• Lead, motivate and support team members.
• Maintain safety programs enforcing safe work practices and procedures.
• Develop delivery routes and cultivate strong relationships with drivers and customers.

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Business, Operations Management or related field preferred or equivalent work experience.
• Proven work experience as an Operations Manager or similar role such as Manufacturing Manager or Production Manager.
• Strong working knowledge of performance and operations management.
• Familiarity with industry regulations and quality standards.
• Outstanding leadership and organizational skills.
• Proven team leader.
• Competent collaborator and skilled cross-functional communicator.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and hands-on work environment.
