Key Responsibilities - Specific responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

· Lead the Lease COE in all aspects of Lease Accounting, including serving as primary liaison with Procurement, Operations, and International business partners

· Collaborate with the Director of Technical Accounting on issues related to leased assets

· Collaborate with all operations personnel and finance and accounting teams to allow for proper oversight of lease contracting, classification and tracking of leases assets

· Assess accounting Communicate non-recurring transactions that will impact plan and monthly forecasts

· Provide accounting insight during the annual and long-range plan development processes

· Provide leadership and support for the accounting teams (Lead lease Accounting organization) to ensure standard practices are in place, training is held and information is available for decision making

· Make certain that appropriate Lease asset data is maintained

· Ensure timely, accurate reporting for leased assets are available for accounting and business decisions

· Actively participate in acquisitions, divestitures and similar transactions including but not limited to providing ad hoc reporting requirements, guidance on asset detail, appropriate adjustments within leased asset records and integration

· Support Tax with leased asset system and reporting needs

· Maintain the lease accounting policy. Communicate and train the policy, as applicable.

· Lead day-today the Lease Center of Excellence including in the following areas:

o Support the accounting teams by bridging procurement/business needs in tracking leases in the PowerPlan lease system with accounting monthly recording and reporting requirements

o Maintain Lease data submission template process (including new leases, terminated leases, and lease modifications)

o Maintain vendor specific data requirements for new lease data of input into lease tool and reconciliation

o Maintain completeness procedures to ensure lease data is provided timeline

o Lead process by procurement and business unit capital vs operating testing and documentation / conclusions thereof

o Assisting operations in safeguarding leased assets through the oversight of tracking and verification of assets

o Assisting in the assessment of Lease asset impairment (maintain “watch list”)

o Lead Key Relationship team members by providing guidance and oversight

o Ensure internal controls are identified and effectively applied both within lease CoE and in Accounting / Finance organization

o Provide oversight for accounting systems used for projects and lease asset accounting

o Identify ways to improve processes through effective system usage

o Maintain lease related policies and procedures and other related policy requirements

o Provide technical input and consultation to the business on lease accounting

o Develop and evolve Management Reporting for leased Assets inclusive of ROI focus Lease

o Operate controls related to the monthly and quarterly lease process

o Assist in the development of desk level standard operating procedures




· Lease System / Accounting Administration:

o System acumen

o Perform systems administration functions

o Monthly close operations

o Calendar coordination for up and down stream tasks

o Lead / coordinate with PowerPlan (lease system) on betterments / change requests

o Master data coordination with other systems

o Security maintenance

o Training of users

o Manage IT general controls and SOC reporting oversight for PowerPlan

o Continuous improvement
