Quality Manager

Location: Springfield, MO

Overview:

My client is an international company with multiple US sites producing food additives, nutritional supplements, and high purity specialty chemicals. This medium sized site produces all the above products and is FDA/GMP/ PSM regulated. This person will oversee the site Quality Department including managing four professionals and a team of quality technicians with oversite of materials that are incoming, in-process and outgoing. This will be a good opportunity for someone that wants to be an important improvement agent as they are looking for someone that can provide hands-on leadership as they are looking to make improvements to the quality department. My client Is offering a generous compensation package and relocation assistance.

Qualifications:

• B.S. Chemistry, Food Science, or Microbiology
• 10+ years’ experience out of diverse pharmaceuticals, food, or nutritional supplements
• 5+ years’ managerial experience
• Some analytical chemistry and/or lab management experience would be a major plus
