BMET II
Performs and documents planned maintenance and repair of high end specialty medical equipment associated systems with minimal supervision from service management to perform the required duties. Must demonstrate a working knowledge of, and ability to use the required test equipment, and have the electronic and mechanical knowledge and skills, including the ability to interpret and effectively utilize service manuals, schematics and other applicable service information, required to perform and document planned maintenance and repair of the specialty equipment and systems, as assigned, in accordance with established company procedures. Must demonstrate good organizational skills as well as good communications, interpersonal and customer relations skills as applied to interactions with company personnel and Clinical staff in accordance with established operational and personnel policies and procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- A.S. Degree in Biomedical or Electronics Technology or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years experience in the service and maintenance of medical equipment.
- Exceptional organizational skills required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check.
Must have valid US drivers' license, clean driving record, and must pass criminal background and drug screening.
