Fire Protection Engineer

Location: Danbury, CT

Job Overview:

Our client is a medium sized PSM regulated specialty chemical manufacturer with one established site and a second site in the design phase. This person will be responsible for the fire prevention and mitigation systems at the existing site, working with the Safety, Maintenance, Environmental, and Production departments to carry out all testing, training, and prevention activities. This person will also be working to design and develop the fire prevention systems of the second site that is currently under construction as well as design and assist in developing future upgrades to the fire protection systems. My client is offering a generous compensation package and relocation assistance on a case be case basis

Minimum Requirements:

• B.S. or M.S. Fire Protection Engineer
• 5+ years’ experience out of any PSM regulated chemical or petrochemical production facility
• Must know OSHA 1910.119 EPA, Risk Management Programs and National Fire Protection Agency fire system codes for industrial facilities
• Must have ties to the CT or North East area
