This employee-oriented, custom automation engineering design company is hiring a full time, permanent Robotic Automation Technician. The company does a lot of machine building from scratch but is also making standard products that are sold around the world. The engineering group consists of six engineers so an engineer can have a big impact. The company promotes from within.
The duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate will include the following:
- Interpreting and understanding engineering drawings and documents
- Troubleshooting robotic and automation equipment
- Programming robotic automation equipment and systems
- Programming and integrating vision systems
- Interpreting and understanding engineering drawings and documents
- Documenting as needed
- Participating in troubleshooting and testing
- Overseeing robotic equipment assemblers
The background of the successful candidate must include the following to be considered for this position:
- An engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Software Engineering or related
- Three or more years of manufacturing equipment experience with robotic automation or Programmable Logic Controls
- Two or more years of robotic automation troubleshooting experience
- Two or more years of robotic automation equipment base and module programming experience
- Two or more years of vision system programming and integration experience
- Two or more years of initial setup and integration experience with robotic automated equipment
- Two or more years of Siemens and Allen Bradley PLC experience
- Two or more years of experience utilizing Fronius or SKS to integrate weld equipment
- Experience interpreting and understanding engineering drawings and documents
- Possess a solid work history
- Being a US citizen or green card holder
- Having a residence within a 45 minute drive
