1. Sets up Swiss Screw machines using tooling as necessary to complete the operation of the work piece.
2. Ensure that all traceability for the work is complete and legible according to ISO 13485 or ISO 9001 procedures as applicable to individual job.
3. Ability to read blueprint as needed to interpret customer needs per specification
4. Uses a wide variety of precision measuring equipment to layout and inspect work.
5. Machine parts to drawing dimensions or perform functions in accordance with travelers.
6. Machine to fine finishes and close tolerances.
7. Determine when tools need sharpening or replacement.
8. Verify completion and accuracy of parts to drawing dimensions.
9. Assist other operators/machinists with machining or programming issues.

1. Minimum 15 years Swiss Screw Machine experience.
2. Must be able to program Swiss Screw Machines with G & M codes.
3. Perform complex shop math calculations.
4. Above average ability to problem solve
5. Ability to follow and understand CNC programs
6. Must be able to read, write and speak English at a 12^th grade level
7. Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
8. Must be detail oriented.
9. Journey level machining capabilities
10. Possess above average planning as well as follow-through capabilities
