Location: Remote/telework

Salary: 50-55K + Full Benefits + FULL REMOTE (Even after C19)  

 Ideal candidate MUST have Paralegal experience and experience working with home purchasing and titles. Summary of essential job functions:

  • Monitoring of work queues and follow up of documentation
  • Preparation of preliminary and final HUD statements
  • Purchase transactions
  • Quality review, preparation and delivery of loan closing documents
  • Completing tax and payoff updates as required at time of scheduling
  • Ensuring files are ready to close as outlined in our service level agreements with customers
  • Completing transactional tasks as requested by customer
  • Managing change requests from customer i.e. loan amount changes, new documents
  • Calculating all fees for transactions and ensuring accuracy
  • Professional interaction with third party vendors including municipal tax collectors and lending institutions
  • Raising any process or systemic issues accordingly
  • Assist team members in all other functions as assigned by management
  • Contact borrowers and agent to schedule loan closing
  • Assist borrowers and agents with questions related to loan closing
  • Comply with all security policies and procedures to ensure the protection of customer NPPI (Non-public personal information) , the company’s information and assets.
  • Responsible to report any security incident, violation or act of non-compliance with the company’s security policies and procedures to managers, IT or appropriate contact.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 2 years as paralegal in Real Estate
  • 1 year previous customer service experience

Full understanding of pre-closing process
Purchase transaction competency
Ability to complete and calculate HUD and disbursement documents
Knowledge of all lender and title closing documents
Ability to accurately calculate payoffs, tax payments and purchase adjustments
Strong knowledge in document requirements by state
Ability to manage multiple open computer applications and/or screens at one time
Ability to work independently and effectively with minor supervision
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
Excellent customer service skills required
Ability to stay focused and maintain a high level of accuracy while meeting daily task and process d
Willingness to cross train and change responsibilities
