Corrugator
Outstanding client of ours in need of a Corrugator Operator responsible for all activities associated with running the Corrugator machine including setup, operation, production reporting, cleanup, cross training and continuous improvements to operations.
Primary Duties
• May be assigned to other projects and duties
• Adjust sections of the machine as well as side slitters, trim and cut-off knife during the entire run to ensure proper quality is being maintained
• Directs and assists crew members to ensure efficient, safe and quality manufacturing
• Carry out and document quality checks as required
• Prepare PVA adhesive application and controls, making sure quality bond is present
• Check wet end line-ups to verify that proper roll stock (grades, widths) are being used
• Responsible for waste control throughout the machine center (DRY/WET end) and for accurate recording of production and waste data within CTI
• Maintain at all times the machine at expected housekeeping standards
• Follow all safety rules and procedures
• Troubleshoot when operating issue on machine occur
• Assists other departments and/or areas as requested by management or supervisor
• Participates in any extra curriculum (training & development) activity deemed necessary by management
• Train other colleagues to pass on knowledge & expertise
• Learn relevant local and company requirements, rules and procedures. Strictly follows rules and guidelines and always uses the right procedure for the job. Promptly reports incidents, near-misses, and unsafe conditions or processes. SKNA employees regardless of level, position or tenure are responsible for upholding the safety standards regulations and policies.

Job Qualifications
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years related experience as a Single Facer Operator
• Basic computer skills for data entry
• Must be able to read, write and speak in English
• Good interpersonal & communication skills
• Highly organized, detail orientated and self-motivated individual (proactive attitude)
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment, learn quickly and follow established processes
• Good mathematical skills -- understand basic algebra, able to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, volume etc. (add and subtract numbers, multiply and divide by 10's and 100's...)
• Ability to define problems, collect data/facts (observing, receiving, and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant sources) and draw reasonable conclusions
• Ability to deal with various situations
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Capable of prioritizing multiple tasks and deliver on production deadlines
• Able to interpret a variety of instructions
• Able to provide and communicate sound information to Management
