QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIRED SKILLS:
 Strong configuration and integration knowledge with Kronos Workforce Central
Version 7 and up.
 Strong understanding and use of MS Excel is required.
 Ability to analyze and evaluate work methods, design and implement ‘best practice’
payroll systems and procedures. Effective utilization of computer equipment and
software to perform duties.
 Experienced with testing and implementation of system upgrades and service packs.
 Knowledge of configuration of pay policies, attendance, leave, & Employee Self
Service modules.
 Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
 Good analytical abilities.
 Excellent communication skills.
 Excellent organizational skills, ability to handle multiple priorities.
 Ability to maintain confidentiality.
 Ability to travel within the state occasionally.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
 Configuration of Kronos system administration.
 Analyze and evaluate work methods, design and implement ‘best practice’ payroll
systems and procedures for the effective utilization of the software to perform duties.
 Handles Kronos upgrades and enhancements.
 Maintain user passwords and security for system users.
 Develop and maintain interfaces, export and import files.
 Liaison between Payroll, Human Resources, IT, Operations, regarding timekeeping
system issues.
 Interface with field managers regarding daily issues that need resolution.
 Gathers, analyzes and identifies requirements for system
 Designs, develops and analyzes implementation plan based on team requirements
 Configures the application and workflows with project and functional team
 Executes unit and integration testing
 Resolves application problems and troubleshoots end user issues
 Train, coach, develop materials for functional groups to develop super-user functional
leads for scheduling and timekeeping across the organization
 Helps with upgrades, executes detailed and thorough documentation
 Coordinate and assist in all payroll system upgrades.
 Other duties as requested.
 Provides subject matter expertise, guidance and recommendations for modules and
overall system administration.
 Gathers information for reported incidents and problems, assists with troubleshooting,
and escalates as needed.
 Establish and maintain robust working relationships with leaders and end-users.
 Validates and confirms new or changed functionalities to ensure department
specifications are met.
 Assists in maintaining system security to ensure data confidentiality.
 Assists with identifying system(s) functionality and integrated technology
opportunities and solutions for resolving business problems.
 Creates systems documentation including test scripts, user acceptance testing (UAT)
scenarios, end-user documentation and guides and training materials.
 Contacts and works with vendor to resolve software issues with delivered
functionality.
