We are seeking a Building Automation Controls Sales Executive with a robust background in mechanical engineering to join our dynamic team. This individual will play a critical role in our sales operations, leveraging their deep technical knowledge and sales acumen to drive growth and success.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute strategic sales plans for building automation systems (BAS), focusing on both new business development and existing customer growth.
  2. Utilize deep understanding of BAS to educate clients about system benefits, operation, and maintenance.
  3. Provide project estimates and manage the sales cycle from initial contact to project completion.
  4. Collaborate with project management and service teams to ensure project requirements and customer expectations are met.
  5. Actively maintain a sales pipeline and provide regular updates and forecasts to the sales management team.
  6. Work closely with the engineering and design teams to ensure customer needs are met efficiently and effectively.
  7. Cultivate strong customer relationships, leading to repeat business and positive referrals.
  8. Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitors to maintain a competitive edge.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
  2. EIT or PE license is preferred.
  3. Demonstrated experience in BAS installation, service, programming, estimating, sales, and project management.
  4. Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills.
  5. Proven ability to manage complex sales cycles and close deals.
  6. Stable work history, demonstrating reliability and commitment.
  7. Local candidates or those willing to relocate to San Diego, CA.
